You’re Not Too Sensitive — You’re Carrying Untended Wounds
Many people who seek emotional healing are high-functioning. They’re capable, empathetic, responsible — and quietly exhausted. They’ve learned how to survive, adapt, and show up for others, often at the cost of their own needs.
Inner healing begins when we stop asking “What’s wrong with me?” and start asking “What happened to me?”
Unprocessed grief, trauma, abandonment, and chronic stress don’t disappear just because time passes. They settle into the nervous system. They shape how we respond, how we attach, how we protect ourselves. Healing isn’t about reliving the past — it’s about gently acknowledging it so it no longer controls the present.
This work is slow, sacred, and deeply compassionate. It invites you to soften where you’ve had to harden. To feel where you’ve learned to numb. To discover that your sensitivity is not a flaw — it’s a strength that simply needed safety.
You are not broken. You are responding exactly as a human does when they’ve had to be strong for too long.
